Tierra Encantada was built prioritizing sustainability. They used eco-friendly materials such as HempCrete – a blend of hemp, sugar cane, lime and water- along with reclaimed woods. Their sustainability shines through in their use of solar power, recycled water systems and the rainwater we collect for our gardens. Option 1: Fly into Liberia (LIR) — we will be coordinating optional group shuttle transfers from Liberia to Nosara.
Option 2: Fly into San José (SJO) and take a domestic flight with SANSA Airlines, a local carrier that flies directly into Nosara’s regional airport — just minutes from the retreat location.

The temperate will range between high of 80’s to low 90’s. Expect it to be sunny most days, with some natural humidity - as we are in a lush tropical region.

Bring clothes you can move in for yoga & dance! Bathing suits for pool time & the beach. (No need to bring a yoga mat, as we will have those available for you). Tank tops, shorts, cozy pants, sandals, sneakers.
*Make sure to bring good sunscreen & any other skin needs you will need to feel most comfortable in a warmer climate.

Yes! You can exchange USD for Colones at the airport, however, most places do take credit card for a slight fee or USD with the exchange rate in mind.

The food will be fresh, organic, gluten free and mostly vegetarian (with meat options during dinner time).
The water in Costa Rica is clean, pure and safe to drink most places! Buying bottled water is a personal choice & will be available.
